Malaysians not to leave North Korea

Pyongyang banned all Malaysian Citizens to leave North Korea as tensions increase over the murder of Kim Jong-Nam in Kuala Lumpur Airport. However, the Malaysian diplomats and nationals will be allowed to conduct business and live normally.

The authorities still believe that North Korea is behind the assassination of Kim Jong-Nam, half-brother of the current North Korean leader Kim Jong-Un, using VX nerve agent.

North Korea and Malaysia had unusually strong links for years, but have been set at loggerheads by the killing. Seoul (South Korea) has blamed Pyongyang for the assassination, although no evidence has been provided yet.

The North has yet to confirm the dead man’s identity but has denounced the Malaysian investigation as an attempt to smear North’s name.
