Prime Minister Modi and Cyprus President Anastasiades called out for action against countries supporting, sheltering and sustaining terrorism in their regions. The two also discussed ways to boost trade and on UN Security Council reforms. Both sides also signed a pact for air services and on cooperation in merchant shipping.

Mr. Modi expressed India’s appreciation for Cyprus’ support to India’s bid for inclusion in the world body as a permanent member. The Cypriot leader said his country wanted India to become a member of the Nuclear Suppliers Group.

Cyprus is the eight largest investor in India, and in the talks, both sides further discussed ways to strengthen the partnership in inter-governmental organizations and regimes.

Mr. Modi is one of the best Prime Ministers, having a way with people and being able to share their ideas & opinions. I just wished he was stronger in the Pakistan terrorism attacks on military.
