People heard two loud bangs coming from the Manchester Arena’s bars at about 10:35 pm. As the Ariana Grande concert was going on, the explosions occurred sending people running towards the exit. As many as 19 people are believed to have been killed and more than 50 injured.

Ariana Grande, a teenage idol, was reported to be shocked and at a loss of words after the incident. She tweeted “Broken. From the bottom of my heart, I am so so sorry. I don’t have words.” Let’s try to show our support to her, and ask her to not blame herself for any of this. Please.

US officials said that the attacks were similar to Bataclan concert hall in November 2015. The choice of venue, the timing and the mode of attack all suggest this was terrorism.

This is the second terror incident in UK this year, the first one happening in March when a man rammed a car into pedestrians on London’s Westminster Bridge killing four people.
