King Federer won the Miami Open title on Sunday, after defeating his rival Rafael Nadal.

After returning from his six-month injury, Federer has won big, adding the title of Miami Open to the collection of Australian Open and Indian Wells title in 2017.

Federer won the final in straight sets 6 – 3, 6- 4 to win the Miami Open title, defeating Rafael Nadal, which was his fifth final for the title. It is to be noted that Nadal still hasn’t won any Miami Open finals yet.

Federer mentioned that He was more in fight-mode today, just trying to stay afloat. Physically and emotionally it has been a draining week, I think I did very well. He also stated that he will be take a break for a couple of months till before the French Open begins in late May.

Roger Federer wins Indian Wells Title

With the Sunday’s final match, Roger Federer has joined Novak Djokovic as the only man to win five Indian Wells titles. Earlier Federer has won the title in 2004, 2005, 2006 and 2012.

Federer beat Warwinka with a 6-4, 7-5 victory. Hats off to both the players for showing us another jaw-dropping game. (Federer (35) is the oldest ATP player to win one of the elite Master titles, beating Andre Agassi who was 34 when he won in Cincinnate in 2004)

Roger Federer has missed the championship last year due to a kneww injury, and now he was filled with a sense of satisfaction. He said I couldn’t be more happy. It’s an absolute, huge start to the year for me. Last year I didn’t win any titles. I don’t think I was in any finals except maybe Brisbane last year. The change is dramatic, and it feels great.
