War

#war #solution #USA #NorthKorea #Trump #Kim #world #nuclear

The world leaders need to understand this, war isn't the solution. The verbal dialogues/tweets between President Trump and North Korean leader Kim are only escalating the tension between the two countries. You need to think about the people of your country, how much can a war change everyone!
Also, most of the countries in the world have tensions along their border but no one dares to start any conflicts. If any one country goes to war, no one knows what will be the consequences. After all, you need only one candle to light many firecrackers.

Hence, I am sure that if you are a leader, you will have enough intelligence and understanding on how to be better at communication & negotiations. Please use that knowledge.

North Korea’s third ballistic missile test and 12th missile test this year were carried out on Monday into Japan’s Exclusive Economic Zone (EEZ), an area of water extending out to 200 nautical miles from the coast of the country.

Even after US show of military force (sending US Navy ships to the Korean peninsula), and much condemning by the international community, North Korea launched a short-range Scud, that flew about 450 kms before landing in the Sea of Japan.

Japan’s Prime Minister Shinzo Abe swiftly condemned the test and vowed concerted action along with its US ally.

Only China and US have mentioned that they are willing to enter into diplomatic talks with North Korea, only after it halts its missile and nuclear tests.

So another missile launched by the Kim Jong Un regime, and yet another discussion panel to be set up by the international community. I wonder how long will this keep on.

A North Korean mid-range ballistic missile apparently failed shortly after launch Saturday, South Korea and the United States said, the third test-fire flop just this month but a clear message of defiance as a US supercarrier conducts drills in nearby waters.

North Korean missile tests are banned by the UN fearing that the country might become adept in manufacturing and launching nuclear missiles which can strike the US mainland.  President Trump tweeted that North Korea disrespected the wishes of China and launched a missile today. Bad.

According to the South Korea’s Joint Chief of Staff, the missile flew for around two minutes, reaching a height of 71 km and then it failed. The missile was likely a medium ranged KN-17 ballistic missile, which broke up and the pieces fell into the Sea of Japan. The missile might have traveled about 50 km before it’s failure.

Oh North. It’s admirable how North Korea keeps trying even though most of the launches fail. Failures are the stepping stone towards success.

After setting a world record of launching 104 satellites in a go, ISRO is taking on another mission for India. ISRO is working on mining lunar dust, which is rich in Helium-3, and transport the material back to India.

According to statistics, the lunar dust on the Moon can supply energy to not only India, but the whole Earth. The lunar dust, which is rich in Helium-3, can be used as Nuclear fuel to provide energy.

This will not only help cut oil imports for the country, but it also wouldn’t release any harmful carbon emissions or radioactive products, thus managing the Carbon dioxide, which we significantly need to, in the air.

This is amazing. I wish I am able to contribute to ISRO’s program a little by then.

Mike Pence, the Vice-President, told the media in the South Korean capital that they hope to achieve the denuclearisation of North Korea through peaceful means but all options were on the table indicating that President Trump is resolved to go military, if needed, as he showed during the Syrian airbase attack a week ago.

Trump commented “Gotta behave.”, when asked about what message he would like to give to the North Korean leader.

However, North Korea’s envoy to the UN, Kim In Ryong, said that the regime was preparing for any mode of war triggered by potential US military action, and said his country would respond to a missile or nuclear strike in kind.

I wonder where will things go from here. And I wonder North Korea is willing to test yet another missile in it’s arsenal.

Trump told the Chinese President that US is prepared to tackle the North Korean crisis without China, if needed. US has also diverted the USS Carl Vinson aircraft carrier towards the Korean peninsula to try to deter North Korea from conducting another nuclear test.

Test-fire nuclear capable Agni-V

India will test its intercontinental surface-to-surface nuclear capable ballistic missile Agni-V from the Wheeler Island off Odisha coast on Monday. This will be the fourth test of Agni-V missile, which has previously had had it’s first test on April 19, 2012, the second test on September 15, 2013 and third test on January 31, 2015.

The missile is a three stage, solid propellant missile and is capable of striking a target more than 5,000 km away, having an accuracy of within a few meters. It is 17-meter in length and 2-meter in width, with a launch weight of around 50 tonnes. The missile is capable of carrying a nuclear warhead of more than 1 tonne. The Agni-V boats of new technologies like Ring laser Gyro based Inertial navigation system (RINS), Micro navigation System (MINS), high-speed on-board computer and fault tolerant software.

In the Indian Agni series, Agni-I has a range of 700 km, Agni-II with 2,000 km, Agni-III with more than 2,500 km and Agni-IV more than 3,500 km. Thus, Agni-V is said to be having the longest range yet. Read the full article here.

Donald Trump goes Nuclear in words

Donald Trump indicated on Friday that he did not fear a new arms race and warned that United States would match any move by another country to boost its nuclear arsenal.

Trump tweeted on Thursday that America will “greatly strengthen and expand its nuclear capability until such time as the world comes to its senses regarding nukes.” This tweet came hours after President Vladimir Putin declared Russia needs to “strengthen the military potential of strategic nuclear forces.”

The Trump reply and his use of language reminiscent of the Cold War rocked the Washington establishment two days before Christmas. However, some people wondered if this reply was a deliberate strategy to bring about a promised rapprochement with Russia.

Sean Spicer, the incoming White House press Secretary, said that the President-elect’s point is that unless other countries come to their senses and recognize that this is not a smart move, increasing nuclear stockpile around the globe is not good for anybody, the US is not going to sit back and take it.
