Late night thoughts đ¤

Something you might want to read.
Has humanity really gone to tatters? Just what is wrong with this world and some of the people living here. Why canât we appreciate other people or other animals. Why is this simple thing so hard to get through? We are in 21st century, fighting amongst ourselves, blaming each other whether for the pandemic, for the poor decision making, for inequality and more.
Why canât we all come together and stand united? How does the color of skin matter? You learn and understand people as you talk to them, get to know them. Can you really tell what skin color or what religion the other person is while talking on the phone? No. You canât. You talk to everyone equally, be sweet with people who talk nicely, be rude to people who are abusive.
So why canât we do this face to face? Where does the religion or color card come in. Are you stupid?
And then the worst people are there who harm creatures that donât even have the ability to speak. Just read the article below… I mean how can anyone do that? đ Incidents such as these are heart wrenching.
At the end of the day, itâs the responsibility of each and every one of us to educate others. Help others. And then who donât listen, they need to be dealt with.
Whether itâs our parents, or the friends,
We hardly show gratitude for what they do;
And yet everytime a stranger helps us,
We smile at them and say âThank youâ?
Perhaps even I am such a person,
And maybe, even you are too;
What we could do is support each other,
Living alone can only be done by few.
Then again, stranger things have happened,
At times like these, even more so;
When people are isolated even from family,
Or they hide away, seeing others as a foe?
Indeed, it is a tolerant world out there,
Running around, trying harder for money;
Which is good, everyone has preferences,
But who do you live for, this or your honey?
We fear the stumbling of economy,
Rather than the number of people lost;
What exactly are we going to achieve,
If the person whom we started for, goes.

Itâs a long fight, this virus,
Attacking regardless of race;
Doctors swarming around,
Saving some, keeping the pace.
So letâs put their hearts at ease,
Cheering them on each success;
There might be failures of course,
Doesnât mean they put efforts less.
Clapping in the background,
And sharing respectful videos;
Are good and appreciative,
But the priority is no-shows.
Donât show up for that concert,
Or that much needed shopping;
Just stay safe at your home,
No need to go to that bar hopping.
Letâs fight this together,
And win this battle of life;
For its better to see the sun late,
Than to never wake up or rise.
Call your loved ones, text them,
Donât go holding because of the ego;
We are together in these times,
No need to hurt and make a foe.
Close your eyes, get some rest,
Or watch that unseen movie;
But always keep doctors in heart,
They are humans too, with a bovie.

I remember when you were here,
Never taking my eyes off you;
The striking appearance of that smile,
Made me love every subtle wrinkle.
I remember when you were here,
Both of us would manage the chores;
Some of the food that you made,
So bad, yet I miss it now even more.
I remember when you were here,
Talking about the future and life;
How to get a better house and car,
But most importantly a happy family.
I remember when you went away,
It was just a phone call on the cell;
The crisis of the year, the headlines,
A flight whose engine burst, fell.
I remember when you went away,
Gone were those happy memories;
The precious little lies and secrets,
The sweet memories and cries.
I remember when you went away,
Looking up at the sky at night;
Trying to find the unknown star,
All blurred with the tears in my eye.
I remember now, me and you, all of it,
The reason that we are now apart;
For there must be still meaning to life,
And fulfill all your wishes, before I depart.
I remember, thatâs all I can say,
You wonât ever be alone from now;
Let me be here a little longer, love,
Pursue the dreams for which we vowed.
Have you seen a person who is saved,
Rescued and given a chance to live;
Look at the expression in their eyes,
Thatâs one time that humans donât lie.
Have you seen a person who is in love,
Pursuing the other without a question;
They seem to be blinded by the light,
Yet for them, itâs the best moments in life.
Have you seen a person who like a mother,
She carries you through all nine months;
And when she glances a look at your face,
All she can feel is peace, pride and care
Have you seen a person who cleans everyday,
They clean and work without recognition;
Doing one of important jobs of society,
Just to keep hygiene, making people thrive.
Have you ever seen those people,
Ones mentioned above and many more;
These who spread peace and happiness,
Just for us to live and enjoy to the core.
I am like this piece of blank paper. I donât know where my steps will lead me to, but I sure need to focus all my efforts into making this a success, Amish thought as he opened yet another blank page to write down the new chapter.
The bell sounded; someone was probably at the front door. Amish looked up from his laptop for a second, didnât care and began to stare on the blank page again. A minute passed by. The bell rang again, and Amish repeated the same step of in-action.
As the bell rang for the third time, Amish got up with a sigh. Where is that secretary now. What do I even pay her for if she canât even answer the door, he thought as he walked to the front door with sluggish steps.
He saw the person through the eyehole, was astonished a bit and unlocked the door. He watched as his secretary walked in with two heavy grocery bags, and asked, âUmm⌠What? Where were you Tina?â
Tina was surprised by the question. She replied back, âCanât you see these grocery bags? I just came from the grocery store. I bought eggs, milk, fish, snacks, Oreos and some drinks as you requested. You asked me to just a while back?â
âOh yeah, I did, Didnât I. Well good that you are back. Can you cook me some omelet and pour me a glass of wine? Thanks Tinaâ, and he walked back to the study before Tina could even reply.
Man, what a tiresome person he is. Does he actually appreciate this or just finishes the statement with âThanksâ? I have been here for more than two years now and he hasnât changed one bit. A good thing is that he still writes amazingly well. Although, those questions from him regarding the stories he writes, and knowing the story way before than others makes it worthwhile, Tina was in thought when she heard Amish ask for the omelet again. She sighed and went to the kitchen.
