A lynch mob beat a 23-year old journalism student in Pakistan, shot him and still continued to hit the lifeless body of the boy with sticks.

The incident happened in Abdul Wali Khan University in the Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa province, where a group of students murdered the 23-year old Mashal Khan, a student at the University’s journalism department. The reason being, that Mashal Khan had been accused of running Facebook pages which allegedly published blasphemous content, however there has been no concrete proof of such yet.

Around 59 students were arrested for being suspected of involved in the lynching, and the University has been temporarily shut down.

One of Mashal Khan’s professor said Mashal was brilliant and inquisitive, always complaining about the political system of the country, but I never heard him saying anything controversial against the religion.

I can’t believe this. Those are university students who punched and kicked another student, shot him to death and even kept at their behavior with his lifeless body. This is a shame for all the students of the concerned university. What exactly is being taught there.

Elaine Smith (53) was a special-education teacher at North Park School, San Bernardino, California. During one of the elementary school classes, her husband, Cedric Anderson, walked in and opened fire, killing her and an eight year old student, Jonathan Martinez, after which he re-loaded the gun and killed himself. The murder-suicide spread panic across the city, especially among the parents and grandparents of students in the school who were shocked at the news of the incident.

A nine-year old student was also critically wounded, however he has been stabilized in the hospital.

San Bernardino, a city of 216,000 people about 60 miles east of Los Angeles, was the site of a December 2015 terror attack that killed 14 people and wounded 22 others at a meeting of San Bernardino County employees.

I can’t even imagine what had gone through the kids during that moment in the class. They would be have been terribly afraid. I wish people are able to show their support for the kids, and also pray for the injured. May the people who died rest in peace.

A 16-year-old student, Killian Barbey, who had troubled relations with his peers opened fire at a high school in southern France on Thursday, wounding three other students and the principal who tried to intervene, officials said.

Alexis de Tocqueville school in the town of Grasse, a town 40 kilometers from the southern city of Nice, was attacked by Killian Barbey, who was believed to be armed with a rifle, several pistols and a small grenade. The student entered a classroom and left without doing anything, supposedly not able to find the person he was looking for. There was no reason to suspect the shootings were terrorism-related and that there did not appear to be any other suspects.

There were 4 people shot out of which 3 were students and one was the high school principal. There were at least 10 other victims with small wounds.
