Moroccon tourist murders

A composite image shows two blonde women in an outdoor environmentA couple of tourists in Morocco were ‘beheaded‘ during their trip. Although the culprit has not been confirmed as of now, the police has arrested a dual Swiss-Spanish national. The man was also found trying to recruit Moroccans “to carry out terrorist plots”.

The victims were Louisa Vesterager Jespersen, 24, from Denmark, and Maren Ueland, 28, from Norway, who had arrived in Morocco on December 9th on a month-long vacation. Both of them had been studying outdoor activities at the University of Southeastern Norway. Their bodies were found in their tent.

A minute of silence was observed in the capital Rabat with Danish and Norwegian diplomats present. There were hundreds of people present at the vigil in the southern village of Imlil, where the women’s bodies were found.

No one can understand the reason terrorists or people do such activities. It is beyond rational comprehension. Following such methods, for what cause? Do they just enjoy it? Do they have no remorse? Because of such people, the world has become a place to be trusted even less. People have to be even more cautious at all times, governments spend even more on defence.
Is this the world that will continue on?

#police #India #militants #terrorism #Kashmir #incident #victims

Six policemen travelling towards Anantnag town in a Tata Sumo vehicle were killed when militants ambushed them at Thajiwara Achabal. The victims were a Sub Inspector in Achabal and five constables.

The militants started firing and all the policemen were killed. The attack took place 17 km from the spot in Arwani where an encounter between militants and security forces was in progress. The militants are also accused of taking away the AK-47s that the policemen were carrying before running away. They also shot all the policemen at close range after killing them, thereby disfiguring the faces.

The Lashkar-e-Toiba acepted responsibility for the attack, and police mentioned that this was a ‘revenge’ attack since an encounter killed the militant’s local commander Junaid Mattoo.

This is cowardly and sad. Is there really no way to get rid of all the militants/terrorists? People killing others, and afterwards shooting them at close range so as to disfigure them is complete maniacal, and proves that there isn’t any humanity left in them.

The US state department officially named three individuals from different countries as global terrorists, adding them to the US terrorist sanctions list. Mohammad Shafi Armar, Ousamma Ahmad Atar and Mohammed Isa Yousif Saqar Al Binali were named as Specially Designated Global Terrorists.

Armar is a native of Karnataka, India and is the terrorist organization’s chief recruiter in India. He has been blamed for cultivating dozens of IS supporters involved in building the group’s operations in the country.

Atar is a Belgian-Moroccan national and is the one for establishing IS network in Europe, responsible for the November 2015 Paris attacks and is also connected to the March 2016 Brussels attack.

The third person, Binali, is a Bahraini who is known for recruiting Bahrainis to the group and appears in IS promotional videos.

These individuals, influencing people and destroying the lives of others. I wonder if they can ever sleep in the night, and do they even know what’s right from wrong.

Indian evidence on Kashmir protests

#India #Pakistan #Kashmir #UN #UNHRC #protests #terrorism #politics

Pakistan has been given “concrete evidence” about its cross-border “encouragement and support” for the protests in Kashmir. India has also accused Pakistan of misusing the UN platform to further its despicable political objectives.

Indian representative mentioned that Pakistan is using terror to destabilize Kashmir, terrorism receives sustenance from Pakistan. Pakistan is using short-sighted tactics to divert attention as the terrorist breeding ground. Even after referring to UN Security Council resolutions, Pakistan has very conveniently forgotten it’s own obligation of vacating the Pakistan Occupied Kashmir.

Pakistan has no hesitation in using air power/military against its own people repeatedly. The country has become an epicenter for terrorism and has seen continuous degradation and weakening.

Really. Pakistan government has no sense of pride, or justice. Harboring terrorism, as mentioned and verified by several countries is a grave ill both to the nation and the world. And then, instead of cleaning it’s own territory, the country keeps interfering in another nation’s activities. And then it has its own issue of Balochistan. How can the country even find the pride to speak anything in the UNHR Council.

Is this the world we are living in now?

Denial. That’s what you are doing right now. You need to accept the fact. And get moving. Find something else, find someone else. Her thoughts were against her as she walked through the hallway between the staff room and the art room.

The path was clean, after all the Principal had ordered punishment for any student who would litter anywhere. Things had changed. It was actually okay to take a stroll and not see wrappers/food items/covers lying around.

She reached the end of the hallway and leaned on the gate shutter. The yellow colored gate shutter still seemed old and hard to push. She could see the four school buses parked outside, Bus No. 1, No. 2, No. 4 and No. 8. 1 and 2 were bigger than the rest of the buses. They pick more students in that route I suppose.

The canteen was visible diagonally from her spot. As usual. Crowded as f*** during lunch time. Then again, I don’t feel like eating any junk today. She just stared at the faces of everyone there. She could make out her two friends, Richa and Prachi in the distance, busy having their cream-roll with a bottle of Pepsi.

Personally, she had never liked the canteen food because it was usually made the previous day. And also, she had her doubts at the authenticity of the raw materials in making the food. One of her friends, Rohit had found a dead lizzard once in the patties, and the Principal had ordered a major reform of the Canteen. It was two years ago and yet, she wasn’t confident enough. I wonder what will Rohit say about the canteen now. Then again, he transferred to another school after the year of that incident. I wonder, was the incident really one of the reasons for his transfer.

Shaking her head, she came out of her thoughts and headed towards buses. Even though children were not allowed to enter the buses during the school hours, they weren’t particularly locked. And so, sometimes she would slide the door a little and sit inside, all alone, in silence for the ten minutes of lunch.

It was a unique experience. Just sitting, no noise, closing the eyes and thinking about whatever you wanted, or not thinking at all. As usual, she took the spot in the middle row and rested her head on the bench rail. She didn’t have anything particular to think about, so she just closed her eyes and listened. Beep. Beep.

What is that sound? That is not usual. In fact I think this is the first time I am hearing this. Beep. Beep. What should I do? That doesn’t seem to be coming from far away. In fact, it feels like it is right behind me. She jumped up and searched the seat at the back. There was a green colored bag with a smiling Sun logo in the front. This must be it. I can hear it better now. She closed in on the bag, picked it up from the ground and placed it on the seat. She was going to open it when her hands froze.

Should I open it? A beep beep sound, a misplaced bag…maybe voluntarily, inside a bus. I wish it is not what I am thinking. I shouldn’t touch it. She hurried towards the main door of the bus. She was in such a hurry that she left the bus without closing the door. Her friends, Prachi and Richa saw her coming out of the bus, and that made them curious.

Prachi was surprised, as she had never seen Momo in the bus. She called out Momo’s name but she seemed to be in a hurry, perhaps flustered. What was that all about? Prachi thought. The no-reaction and rushing from Momo had made here even more curious. Did something happen in the bus? With someone? Shut up. Stop thinking dirty. You know that Momo won’t ever do such a thing, she is a vassal of principles. So what’s going on.

Prachi looked at Momo, her gaze fixed as Momo was rushing from the bus to the hallway between the staff room and art room. What has gotten into her. Prachi thought. I must check the bus. She headed for the bus Momo had just come out of. Richa said that they will get late for the class, but Prachi was determined.

She asked Richa to go to the class by herself and that she will be there in a minute. Richa parted after saying Always interested in anything related to Momo, aren’t you? to which Prachi just smiled and headed to the bus.

What the hell! It is empty, there is no one else in the bus. I didn’t see anyone except Prachi come out of the bus. Why was she acting strange then. The loud noise of the school bell started ringing, the rhythmic beating of the iron sphere with a hammer. Oh wow! Just in time. I need to find something quick. Cmmon, I don’t want to miss the period. That too it’s Chemistry. Meh.

The school bell was loud, and it felt like her heart beating faster and faster. She went till the end of the seats, took a turn and was heading back to the main door. What’s this? A bag? …With a Sun? Really? Who carries these nowadays. She looked at the bag for a second or two then realized, Was it something inside this bag that made Momo hurry away? Maybe? But should I open an unclaimed bag? It’s fine though. As long as it is for Momo, I think I have the right to know it. She sat in the same seat, took the bag on her lap and carefully unzipped it so that no contents fall out. The bag seemed a bit heavy at first, which made her think what could be inside it.

She peeked inside the bag, there was a device that was counting down. It was at 550 at that time, or so she thought. The number suddenly changed to 0. Prachi gulped, her heart skipping a beat. Her mind asked her to throw away the bag and run. But it was too late.

The blast rocked the entire school. Fortunately, the lunch time was over so there was no other student to be injured by the blast, but one of the bus drivers who was roaming the area, came in the blast radius.

Everyone in the school was shocked, and many felt that their was an earthquake. Momo had hurriedly made it to the Principal’s office, pushing other staff members, who muttered that they will punish her in the class and maybe take points of her test for misbehaving. Momo hadn’t cared, she rushed to the office, kicking open the door, gasping for breath and telling the Principal about her finding.

The Principal was scared, he had never imagined a scenario like this. This was a Public School for teaching children for Christ’s sake! He shouted How could something like this even be possible. Momo begged the principal to hurry and come to the location with her. But the bang happened. Just as they were about to exit the office, the bang happened.

Momo was shocked. The Principal was so startled by the loud noise that he fell on the floor. How could this be happening. There was no one in the bus, right? And it didn’t feel like it would go off until …. someone… opened… the … zipper… Who… She tried hard to come up with words but she wasn’t able to think of anything. She just kept staring down the hallway she had just hurried from, the scene outside looked black. The floor where the buses were parked looked black. Where were the buses… she could make out two pieces of large metal junk that were burning outside.

According to the news the next day, two people were killed, a bus driver named S. Dutta and a school girl in 10th grade, named Prachi.

#China #India #OneBeltOneRoad #SCO #Asia #terrorism #international

Leaders at Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) praised the results of the One Belt and One Road initiative, however they clarified that the project should be based on mutual respect, equality and mutual benefit. They also noted that granting full SCO membership to India and Pakistan will help facilitate further development of SCO.

The declaration also asked to adhere strictly to the goals and principles of UN Charter, which, if followed, will work to the advantage of New Delhi, who till now has been wary of the initiative as it will be passing through Pakistan Occupied Kashmir (PoK) (Indian land claimed forcibly by Pakistan).

India’s long standing agenda, Combating terrorism, was also stressed as a key point in SCO, and the work towards the adoption of the UN Comprehensive Convention on Combating International Terrorism will be acknowledged.

Donald Trump tweets about London Mayor Sadiq Khan

#President #US #Trump #London #SadiqKhan #terrorism #politics #twitter

London Mayor, Mr. Sadiq Khan, is one of the most prominent Muslim politicians in Europe, and since the group of terrorists killed seven people on London bridge Saturday night, Trump has kept at his hobby of tweeting about the Mayor and the incident.

According to Trump’s tweet, he mentioned At least 7 dead and 48 wounded in terrorist and Mayor of London says there is ‘no reason to be alarmed!’ While on a completely different note, the London Mayor had asked the residents to ‘not be alarmed by an increased police presence in the coming days.’

Such tweets by President Trump comes when London is still struggling to get back on it’s feet after the violent, and horrific terrorist attack on Saturday. Mr. Sadiq Khan also tried to explain that the belief of a few Muslim individuals who plot such devious attacks, is not the same as that of the 1.6 billion Muslims residing in the world or the teachings of Islam.

Mr. Trump acts like a middle school bully, who thrives on speaking about others when he doesn’t get his way (The travel ban that is). Or someone might compare him to an old housewife, who due to a lack of entertainment in his life has taken upon himself to criticize every little information on a certain topic.

#Kabul #Afghanistan #victims #bomb #terrorism #embassies #incidents

A massive bomb blast occurred in the Kabul’s diplomatic quarter during rush hour. A sewage tanker parked in the area apparently was filled with 1,500 kilograms of explosives that blew up bloodying the scene with corpses and filling the sky with huge clouds of smoke. The attack killed more than 90 people and at least 400 were wounded.

The attack happened just days after the start of the holy month of Ramadan, and most agencies are suspecting Taliban behind the attack, however the group has denied the allegations.

The explosion reverberated across the whole city, many residents thinking that it is an earthquake. Among the injured were people from German embassy, BBC crew, and others. The blast shattered the windows of several embassies and has charred off the outside walls to pitch black.

Whichever group attacked, its shameful. You preach about Allah and say you follow Quran, and yet you kill in the holy month.

Please pray for the deceased ones, and wish speedy recovery for the injured.

But How? The attack happened in a diplomatic area, and no one checked a sewage tanker filled with ‘1500’ kilograms of explosives. How is that possible.

A few members of IS remotely detonated bombs in a parked car in front of a popular ice cream shop in central Baghdad. The attack came just days into the holy month of Ramadan when Muslims fast during daylight hours.

The streets was chaotic after the blast, and a number of wounded lay on the ground. Others who could stand, lifted themselves to the colorful park benches outside the ice cream shop.

Very much the same, Baghdad was also hit by a huge truck bomb last year that killed more than a hundred people. The truck targeted a popular retail district in the city where people were shopping at the end of Ramadan.

So IS (Illiterate Souls), continue their blasts without any care of the people of their own religion. And that too in the holy month of Ramadan. This is a shame.
