War

#war #solution #USA #NorthKorea #Trump #Kim #world #nuclear

The world leaders need to understand this, war isn't the solution. The verbal dialogues/tweets between President Trump and North Korean leader Kim are only escalating the tension between the two countries. You need to think about the people of your country, how much can a war change everyone!
Also, most of the countries in the world have tensions along their border but no one dares to start any conflicts. If any one country goes to war, no one knows what will be the consequences. After all, you need only one candle to light many firecrackers.

Hence, I am sure that if you are a leader, you will have enough intelligence and understanding on how to be better at communication & negotiations. Please use that knowledge.

Trump tweeted about the Dispute in Middle East

#MiddleEast #politics #US #Trump #Qatar #SaudiArabia #international #trade

Countries such as Saudi Arabia, UAE, Bahrain and Egypt cut ties with the neighbor Qatar, going as far as ordering its diplomats and citizens to leave and threatening deeply intertwined regional trade links and air routes.

Trump, as he is, tweeted that During my recent trip to the Middle East, I stated that there can no longer be funding of Radical Ideology. Leaders pointed to Qatar – look! In another tweet, he mentioned So good to see the Saudi Arabia visit with the King and 50 countries already paying off. They said they would take a hard line on funding extremism, and all reference was pointing to Qatar.

This comes when US has a base located in Qatar, with as many as 10,000 US personnel there.

Also, during the trip to Middle East last month, it was known that Trump personally met with Qatari emir Sheikh Tamim Bin Hamad al-Thani, and said, “We are friends. We’ve been friends now for a long time…. Our relationship is extremely good.”

This is embarrassing, even for the United States. US, is considered at the top of the chain, and involving itself in such tweets & criticizing is nothing but degrading to the country’s reputation. Trump should understand that, now he not only the leader of his Trump Organization, but rather a leader for the whole country and it’s people.

Donald Trump tweets about London Mayor Sadiq Khan

#President #US #Trump #London #SadiqKhan #terrorism #politics #twitter

London Mayor, Mr. Sadiq Khan, is one of the most prominent Muslim politicians in Europe, and since the group of terrorists killed seven people on London bridge Saturday night, Trump has kept at his hobby of tweeting about the Mayor and the incident.

According to Trump’s tweet, he mentioned At least 7 dead and 48 wounded in terrorist and Mayor of London says there is ‘no reason to be alarmed!’ While on a completely different note, the London Mayor had asked the residents to ‘not be alarmed by an increased police presence in the coming days.’

Such tweets by President Trump comes when London is still struggling to get back on it’s feet after the violent, and horrific terrorist attack on Saturday. Mr. Sadiq Khan also tried to explain that the belief of a few Muslim individuals who plot such devious attacks, is not the same as that of the 1.6 billion Muslims residing in the world or the teachings of Islam.

Mr. Trump acts like a middle school bully, who thrives on speaking about others when he doesn’t get his way (The travel ban that is). Or someone might compare him to an old housewife, who due to a lack of entertainment in his life has taken upon himself to criticize every little information on a certain topic.

Putin is satisfied with Trump’s decision to withdraw from Paris Pact

#Putin #Russia #Trump #President #US #ParisClimatePact #GlobalWarming #ClimateChange #politics

Putin mentioned “Don’t worry, be happy!” on being asked for his reaction on Trumps decision regarding the withdrawal of US from the Paris Climate Pact. Putin might be satisfied with Trump’s decision, considering Russia is the largest crude oil producer and fifth largest greenhouse emitter in the world.

Russia pledged to reduce its carbon emissions by at least 25 percent below 1990 levels by 2030. Under current projections, Russia could step up its carbon emissions and still claim to meet its 2030 goals. There are currently no utility-scale wind turbines or solar farms in Russia.

However, Putin seem to be aware of the man-made carbon emissions and the global warming caused by it, unlike President Trump who still says that global warming is partly an elaborate hoax.

Putin also joked that everyone can blame the Trump administration and American Imperialism for the impacts of global warming.

Well. Russia seems to be satisfied. I wish US can come to terms, and in turn at least launch a campaign to protect its own environment and control its pollution, if it doesn’t feel like helping other countries.

US exit Paris Climate Pact; Asks to reinstate Muslim travel ban

#Trump #US #muslim #ParisClimatePact #ClimateChange #India #China #politics

Trump announced in Thursday that United States will be withdrawing from the Paris Climate Pact. He also mentioned that since the Election Day on November 8th, the US has added $3.3 trillion in stock market to the economy, and had opened up more than a million private sector jobs. He also concluded a military and economic development deal of $350 billion which was finalized during his foreign trip.

Withdrawing from the Paris Climate Accord is a necessity for the United States, as the deal works against the US, punishing it for being a developed country. Each year US and several other developed countries have to give $100 billion to developing countries, so that they can counter the climate change threat. And so far, US has given a sum of $1 billion, which is far more than any of the countries.

The Paris Accord can cost US as many as 2.7 million jobs by 2025. It also asks US to reduce coal production by 86 percent or more, and several other industries, which will cost the economy a good $3 trillion in lost GDP and 6.5 million jobs.

Countries like China and India, on the other hand, have free rein and can increase coal usage, with Indian given the authority to ‘double’ its coal production.

On another note, the Trump administration also asked the Supreme Court to reinstate the travel ban on six countries – Iran, Libya, Somalia, Sudan, Syria, Yemen.

It’s a pretty selfish world from here on. Each country is looking out for themselves first, which isn’t a wrong thing in general. It’s just sad to hear it. And different countries in Paris Climate Pact get different rules & regulations because they are at a different stage of development, with United States considered at the top of the chain. That’s why other countries are allowed to use coal, till they build infrastructure for renewable resources, since it’s cheaper.

Trump might exit Paris Climate Pact

President Trump is still undecided, however it looks like he will be favoring US withdrawal from the Paris Climate agreement. The move will hold his campaign promises of getting back American jobs and America First, however might be a blunder for the US in the international community.

The withdrawal of the United States, the world’s largest economy as of now, from Paris deal will make unwilling nations to back out from the agreement as well.

Surprisingly, Secretary of State Rex Tillerson and Ivanka Trump, Advisor, are rooting to stay in the Paris deal, but Chief Strategist Stephen Bannon and EPA administrator Scott Pruitt have asked for a withdrawal.

Even CEOs from major organizations such as Apple, ExxonMobil, Tesla, and many more have asked Trump to stay in the agreement.

The final decision will be announced by Trump on Thursday at 3 pm.

Why President Trump gave intelligence to Russia?

#President #US #trump #Israel #Russia #Putin #intel #politics

According to a few US officials, Trump discussed about Islamic State with Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov and Russian Ambassador Sergei Kislyak. US lawmakers have been asking the White House and the President for a complete explanation regarding the matter.

An US ally, probably Israel as suspected by The New York Times, The Wall Street Journal and CNN, and it’s source of information had been revealed by Trump in a meeting with the Russian officials. This threatens the strength of US confidentiality as it shared the information without consulting the respective country, or the US Congress.

Trump said on Twitter on Tuesday he had an “absolute right” to share facts with Russia, adding he wanted Moscow to be more active in fighting Islamic State militants.

Trump’s alleged ties with Russia, the Russian interference in the US election, firing of Flynn and now the firing of Comey, have all raised flags with how deeply the Russian and Trump involvement goes.

This is a serious issue. No state can reveal such information without the consultancy of it’s own congress or the source. If this is proven to be true, it will be a major concern for US allies, and a major concern for US as it might not receive reliable data or any data from it’s allies in the future.

Old life was easier than President life

#Trump #President #US #life #100days #privacy #politics

According to an interview with Reuters just two days away from the first 100 days of being the President, Trump mentioned that he love his previous life as a business man, and that being a President is much more work than before.

Trump also mentioned that he had much less privacy now that he was the President, and that he was still getting used to having 24-hour Secret Service protection. He also said that a President leaves the White House in a limousine or a SUV, hence he missed being behind the wheel himself.

Trump also frequently turns to outside friends and former business colleagues for advice and positive reinforcement. Senior aides say they are resigned to it. Trump also feels he has been treated unfairly by the media, and this was the major reason why he ignored going to the White House Correspondents’ Dinner in Washington.

Trump’s Tax Proposal, is it right?

#Trump #President #WhiteHouse #Taxes #US #corporations #business

According to the a new proposal by the White House, the tax rate for corporations and pass-through business will be reduced to 15 percent. This could be a major windfall for the Trump Organization. As previously noted, Trump has refused to release his tax returns, hence making it impossible to know how much his businesses could save.

Besides this, President Trump also wants to repeal the ‘Alternative Minimum Tax’, a parallel system that kicks in when taxpayers request many itemized deductions and rejects specific deductions, including for assorted real estate write-downs that Trump tapped in past years. This is the tax that raised Trump’s taxes from $7 million to $38 million according to the leaked 2005 tax return of Trump.

Also, dropping the tax rate from 39.6 percent to 15 percent will cost government budgets around $1.5 trillion in a decade, i.e. more than a $150 billion in a single year.

Sanctuary Cities Trump Order: Blocked

#President #Trump #US #SanctuaryCities #immigration #Block #WilliamOrrick

An executive order by President Trump that denied billions of dollars to ‘sanctuary cities’ as punishment for harboring illegal immigrants has been blocked by Judge William Orrick of San Francisco’s federal court. The phrase ‘sanctuary cities/jurisdictions’ remains vague in the law.

The executive order, if implemented, could affect more than 300 cities and counties. For example, the order threatens the transfer of $1.7 billion to Santa Clara County and $1.2 billion to San Francisco. The local communities are thinking that their local governments are being forced to work against them, rather than for them.

The judge said the key issue remained Trump’s repeated statements that funding is a ‘weapon’ to use against cities that resist his policies. That demonstrates the government’s intent, he said, and is unconstitutional.
